Natural meal supplement

This is a very healthy supplement that also tastes good. We use this for lots of stuff, including energy bars, porridge, smoothies, cakes (like carrot or fruit cake) and sprinkled on cornflakes instead of sugar.

Ingredients

  • Golden linseed
  • Brown linseed
  • Pumpkin seed
  • Sunflower seed
  • Chai seed
  • Hemp seed
  • Bee pollen
  • Raw (unblanched) almonds

Method

Chuck everything in a food processor and obliterate. That’s it! You want everything chopped up as small as possible but don’t worry if the almonds are a bit bigger than everything else. We use a smoothie maker with a mill function, which also works well.

Alternatives

You really can use anything. We sometimes use walnuts, pistachios and / or pecans, but only when they’re cheap! We’ve also used cacao powder, but this does make everything taste of chocolate. Which you might think is a good thing!
